About The Role

Responsibilities

 

  • Implement effective campaigns and strategies for key launches, including pitching of stories. This may include public communication plan linked to business initiatives.
  • Manage media queries and interview requests, including managing incidents and sensitive issues, jointly with team lead and respective business units to promote or protect the reputation of the Organization, which may include drafting of holding statements, FAQs and briefing documents.
  • Liaise and engage with internal stakeholders, including Top Executives, to identify and address their media and communications needs with the appropriate initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with key media contacts and influencers to drive and influence media coverage and exposure.
  • Manage agencies to drive business outcomes.
  • Support the development or enhancement of the issues and crisis preparedness/management framework.
  • Build corporate brand through award submissions and create publicity opportunities through award wins.
  • Lead in PR monitoring and measurement including measuring and tracking the value of and return on PR and communication initiatives. 
  • Support the enhancement of corporate communication guidelines and ensure good corporate governance and tone of voice for assets developed for business groups. This could include assets and activities such as spokesperson and/or media training, collaterals, events, speeches, presentations, and digital assets.

 

Requirements

 

  • Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in public relations and corporate communications / crisis communications.
  • Solid understanding of the media landscape.
  • Strong network of PR and media contacts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to engage diverse audiences with ease
  • Experience in PR agency and/or real estate industry will be an added advantage
