Assistant/Sales Manager (Serviced Residences)

Responsibilities

  • Represent the organization professionally presenting Serviced Residences’ products and services.
  • Engage in daily sales activities, including telemarketing, sales calls, Serviced Residence visits, entertainment, tradeshows, and presentations. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the sales process: establish rapport, ask open questions, follow up, manage expectations, address conflicts, overcome objections, close deals, and gather post-feedback. 
  • Acquire new sales leads / prospects and establish accounts to expand the client base.
  • Foster and develop relationships with existing clients and customers to maintain loyalty. 
  • Manage leads, respond to inquiries promptly, and provide appropriate solutions within stipulated response time.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales with optimum use of company systems and sales tools effectively, including property management system and customer relationship management systems, and booker loyalty where applicable.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance guest experiences. 
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize Serviced Residences rates and occupancy. 
  • Ensure timely responses and effective communication.
  • Gather and share publicly available market information. 
  • Provide regular updates to superiors and the team on activities and market insights. 
  • Meet monthly sales targets to achieve cluster budget objectives. 
  • Promote and enroll clients in the booker loyalty program. 
  • Regularly review account portfolios, analyze performance, and present findings to management for action planning. 
  • Adhere to statutory regulations and internal guidelines/SOPs.
  • Follow up with clients with outstanding or long-overdue payments. 
  • Participate in adhoc or promotion client and Serviced Residences activities. 
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by superiors diligently and professionally.
     

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality/ Tourism/ Hotel Management or equivalent 
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferrably in hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and organisational skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the team
