Corporate Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency and strategic goals of the hospitality portfolio. This position is responsible for analyzing operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing actionable insights to enhance profitability, guest satisfaction and overall operational excellence. The position also assists the office of the COO / CEO on special company projects within the company.

 

  • Identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement in operational processes.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports for senior management, highlighting findings and recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance metrics effectively.
  • Evaluate the impact of initiatives, providing insights and adjustments as needed.
  • Track financial and productivity performance against budgets/previous year and provide variance analysis.
  • Support special projects related to operational improvements, cost-saving initiatives and service enhancements.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to understand industry trends.
  • Provide recommendations for improving compliance and operational consistency across properties.
  • Work closely with project team during the pre-opening phase of new properties.
  • Assist with AEI projects, from ROI analysis, planning and design, to enhance property value and guest experience.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in hospitality, tourism management or business. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Business acumen and comfortable with analysis and synthesizing data.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Powerpoint) required.
  • Experience with hotel systems advantageous.
  • Experience with performance analysis and reporting tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau) advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn, improvise and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Able to clearly articulate ideas both orally and writing to various stakeholders.
