Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Lead the duty shift to carry out daily technical support for laundry operations.
  • Being the first person of contact for any technical issues
  • Lead improvement initiatives (if any), troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Maintain the handover – takeover technical log.
  • Participate in bi-monthly continuous improvement projects reviews.
  • Be versed with OLIVER troubleshooting framework – O bserve L ist I solate V erify E xecute R ectify
  • Ensure that sufficient manpower is available for each operation day.
  • Schedule and manage technical team’s work and preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Plan and execute ad-hoc repair work or component replacement.
  • Maintain engineering documentation standards E-MARS
  • Initiate support from Kannegiesser SEA (if required) via E-mail, submitting initial findings.
  • Submit weekly reports to Engineering management for review and endorsement.
  • Nurture and maintain technical proficiency of the technical team.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of team members.
  • Engage operations in morning briefings.
  • Ensure attendance to daily engineering toolbox meeting.
  • Ensure that tools and consumables and required spares are sufficient and appropriate for sustained operations support.
  • Manage operations feedback and take appropriate actions if necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • General mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience as an Engineering Supervisor leading a team
