HCM (Human Capital Management) Lead

Responsibilities

HR Technology Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR technology strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.
  • Stay current with HR technology trends and recommend innovative solutions.

System Implementation and Management: 

  • Work with the Project Manager to lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HR software systems and other relevant platforms.
  • Oversee system integrations to ensure seamless data flow between HR and other business systems.

 

Project Management:

  • Work with the Project Manager to manage HR IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery an adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants and internal teams to achieve project objectives.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers supporting HR systems.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Oversee contract compliance and support contract renewals and evaluations.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure quality delivery, system stability, and continuous improvement.

 

Process Improvement:

  • Analyse HR processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.

Documentation: 

  • Create and maintain documentation such as design specifications, test plans, and user guides in accordance with adopted methodologies.

Change Management: 

  • Facilitate user testing and execute change requests in accordance with the internal change and release processs

Issue Resolution: 

  • Resolve problem tickets escalated from the Service Desk within the agreed service level.

Compliance:

  • Ensure HR technology solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of legal requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in HR IT or a similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of HR technology systems and related technologies. 
  • Understanding of HR processes, regulations, and metrics, along with experience in implementing and managing HR technology solutions. 
  • Excellent project management skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with SAP Successfactor (Employee Central, Recruitment Management, Performance and Goals Management, Learning Management System) and Qualtrics.  
  • Knowledge of change management processes. 
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation. 
  • Experience in process re-engineering and business process improvement initiatives.
