Houseman (Orchard Parksuites)

Responsibilities

  • Houseman duties include but not limited to window and lighting cleaning/dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing of sofa, armchair, dresser chair, bed and pillows, steaming and hanging of day and night curtains, polishing of marble and hard floor, carpet cleaning, patio hi-jet, etc.
  • Handyman duties include but not limited to basic painting touch up, filling gaps/crevices, fix simple wallpaper tears and stains, replace light bulbs (below 1.6m height), repair simple faulty curtain tracks, tighten screws and hinges, replace cooker hood’s filter, fix rubber studs on chairs, checking on shower head and hose for leakages, to checking on water flow pressure in a CARE Programme.  These handyman duties will be explicitly included in CARE Programme Task List for thorough CARE of the apartment.  Houseman may also be requested to attend to ad-hoc handyman tasks that require urgent attention that is non-CARE apartments.  Company will constantly review the scope of works to ensure houseman is competent to handle and complete work orders in an orderly manner.
  • May use CEMS or manual recording to track handyman work orders and to diligently comply with the work procedures.  A mobility device may be provided if using CEMs with a corporate email account granted for access and resetting of password.  
  • Report any defects or damages to supervisor in a timely manner so that these defective/damaged items can be replaced without compromising on guest’s stay experience and/or next guest arrival.

  • PSLE qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
