About the role
The Infrastructure Technology Specialist/Lead supports the Infrastructure Services team in designing, delivering, and maintaining infrastructure components that enable business solutions across Far East Organization.
This role is suitable for a technically strong infrastructure professional who has gained hands-on experience and is ready to take on broader responsibilities in solution design, vendor management, and team collaboration. This position provides a pathway toward future roles in infrastructure management or solution leadership. You will gain direct exposure to project delivery, vendor engagement, and infrastructure standardization initiatives across multiple business units, including Hospitality, Retail, and Real Estate.
Responsibilities
Solutioning and Design (≈70%)
- Support the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions for new property developments, hotel openings, and business initiatives..
- Assist in developing network, voice, and security architectures, with emphasis on Cisco Meraki (Wi-Fi, switching, and firewalls).
- Prepare technical proposals and documentation, and present solution options to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in integration design between infrastructure systems and hospitality-related applications (HSIA, IPTV, PABX, Door Lock, CCTV).
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure solutions meet technical and business requirements.
Operations, Governance, and Security (≈30%)
- Support day-to-day operations across infrastructure platforms (networking, compute, storage, cloud, and security).
- Work closely with other Infrastructure Leads, the Operations team, and Engagement Managers to resolve escalated issues, ensure service continuity, and maintain overall system reliability.
- Participate in system health reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Assist in managing vendor performance to ensure service levels, cost effectiveness, and quality delivery.
- Support governance and security activities, including compliance checks, access management, and audit documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, or operations, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or similar environments.
- Strong technical knowledge in networking technologies, especially Cisco Meraki.
- Familiarity with hospitality infrastructure systems such as HSIA, PABX, IPTV, Door Lock, and CCTV.
- Experience working with vendors and service providers, reviewing technical proposals, and coordinating delivery.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and security fundamentals (firewall policies, access control, vulnerability management).
- Good documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized, dependable, and proactive in follow-up and execution.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA or equivalent
- Cisco Meraki Associate or Specialist certification
- ITIL Foundation
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
