Manager, HR Business Partner (Hospitality)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to shape and drive the business strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes
  • Lead and manage the HBG HR team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members are equipped and motivated to deliver on their responsibilities
  • Analyse payroll costs and manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with strategic goals
  • Provide strategic HR support and guidance in the pre-opening phase of new properties, ensuring readiness and successful launch
  • Oversee the forecasting and planning of the talent pipeline in alignment with business strategy, ensuring the development and retention of high-performing employees
  • Facilitate long-term initiatives that align with the strategic agenda, ensuring the organisation's readiness for future challenges and opportunities
  • Develop and implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve HR services and processes, ensuring they meet employee needs and organisational goals
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to employees and managers, supporting their growth and addressing their concerns proactively
  • Understand and anticipate employee opinions and concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Conduct regular reviews and benchmarking of internal and external HR environments to enhance policies and initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Drive the communication and sharing of best practices across functions to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Act as a strategic liaison between HR and business units, ensuring HR services are aligned with business needs and initiatives
  • Identify and capitalise on new opportunities for HR to add value, supporting overall business success
  • Lead and manage specific projects as outlined in the annual HR operational plan, including participation in cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic HR business partnering role
  • Strong experience in HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and payroll cost analysis
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, coaching, communication, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and industry best practices
