Responsibilities
- Partner respective Business Groups to identify sourcing needs and deliver timely procurement support
- Review the deliverables of appointed external consultants (including M&E Engineer and Quantity Surveyors)
- Prepare pre-tender, tender, cost and contracts administration for development and procurement works
- Identify, evaluate and recommend new Contractors and/or Suppliers that meet the Business Groups’ requirements based on the selection and qualification process
- Analyse and prepare cost estimates for decision making
- Monitor market dynamics and identify marketplace trends that impact material/services availability and pricing
- Assist in review and negotiation of contract details and maintenance of all contracts
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management
- At least 3 years of experience in M&E/Quantity Surveying and/or building and/or supply chain related procurement
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP preferred
