Senior / Sales Manager (Travel Trade)

Responsibilities

As Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager, Travel Trade, you will be part of a dynamic sales team supporting the hotels on a corporate level for our unique and complementary brands - Oasia, Village, Far East Collection, Rendezvous and Serviced Residences.

 

•    Be a spokesperson in terms of professionalism through proper grooming, conduct and ability to present the hotel product and services effectively.
•    Handle local and international travel agents and wholesalers with individual and group travel potential for the hotel. 
•    Establish new accounts and also develop relationships with travel agents and wholesalers.   
•    Work closely with the Director of Sales, Travel Trade to understand hotel business strategies before formulating and executing the action plans on a holistic basis to meet targets and goals at the corporate level. 
•    Day-to-day sales activities include sales calls, follow-up on contracting and group enquiries, hotel visits, marketing partnership & opportunities, brochure inclusions and entertainment, etc. 
•    Participate in ad-hoc or promotional travel agent, STB events and roadshows and hotel activities. 
•    Plan & execute FEH roadshows and sale trips with the field.
•    Handle travel agent enquiries / group leads / series groups and follow through by managing communication amongst the hotels and with the travel agents and wholesalers. 
•    Provide timely responses and communication. 
•    Work closely with the hotel field sales team to ensure that we deliver the best to our guests and the revenue team to optimize the rates to the hotel. 
•    Support the field to follow up with clients whose payments are outstanding and long overdue (when necessary). 
•    Review Travel trade account portfolio regularly and present to Head, Travel Trade on a quarterly basis to provide analysis on performance of each corporate managed account and forward action plans. 
•    Achieve various monthly sales targets set to support the overall FEH wholesale (WHI & WHG)  budget.

Requirements
