Tax Manager (Far East Orchard)
Responsibilities
Support the Group on all tax-related matters (ie. Compliance, transfer pricing, structuring etc.) in business operations in different jurisdictions. Oversee tax filings compliance and to resolve key tax matters.
Tax compliance
- Oversee tax compliance for real estate transactions and entities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
- Manage and file corporate tax returns and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors and local tax authorities to ensure proper tax reporting.
Acquisitions and Disposals
- Lead tax structuring and due diligence for real estate acquisitions, disposals and investments.
- Provde tax advice on the structuring of transactions to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risk.
- Coordinate with internal legal and finance teams to ensure tax aspects are fully integrated into transactional processes
Tax Structuring
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for cross-border real estate transactions, including the use of joint ventures, partnerships, and other investment vehicles.
- Evaluate the tax implications of different financing and ownership structures.
- Provide ongoing strategic tax advice on holding structures, financing, and repatriation strategies for real estate investments across jurisdictions
Transfer Pricing
- Oversee and manage transfer pricing documentation for real estate entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in tax advisory or tax management within the real estate sector, with expertise in multi-jurisdictional taxation.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations relating to real estate transactions, structuring, and transfer pricing.
