Responsibilities
- Manage all GST matters for the group ensuring tax compliance with GST regulations
- Advise on GST implications on transactions, identify and address areas with GST risk and provide tax advisory support to business groups
- Analyse and interpret the impact of changes to laws and regulations, identify tax planning opportunities etc
- Assist in due diligence and ad-hoc projects and liaise with local and overseas consultants on local and regional GST / indirect matters
- Assist in other tax projects and assignments
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent qualification
- Technically competent with minimum 3-5 years of GST managerial experience in commercial and Big 4 accounting firms.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, independent and analytical with good problem solving skills
- Strong communication, organisational skills and ability to work across all levels
- SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage
