Vice President, Business Development (Hospitality)

Responsibilities

  • Source and identify business opportunities and deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relation with owners, business partners and industry professionals for qualified leads and business opportunities generation.
  • Evaluate and review business opportunities and deals by conducting market research, financial analyses, financial modelling and feasibility studies entailing cash-flow and yield analyses and projections.
  • Prepare and conduct pitch to owners and business partners
  • Draft term sheets and conduct and manage the negotiation of the terms of the deals and transactions.
  • Review the structure of the deals / transactions, including due diligence, financing, risk management and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal and external parties on matters relating to new management opportunities and business partnerships and support the deals through to opening or execution.
  • Understand business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and papers for management and board’s approval.
  • Perform any other tasks and duties as required by The Management from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field. 
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in the field of business development with a proven track record in the transaction of deals, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and project-planning skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines, 
  • High level of independence and initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and project management skills
