Web Experience Developer (Group IT)

Responsibilities

The Web Experience Developer shall report to the WX Manager or any other person designated by the Head of Department (HoD) of Group IT (GIT) Division.

You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance websites of various business groups including Agape Business Group, Sales & Leasing Business Group, Hospitality Business Group, and Retail Business Group. 

You will work in a team or individually, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful execution of projects that align with our business users’ objectives and industry best practices.

 

Scope of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and develop website solutions that align with business needs.
  • Perform requirement gathering and program design, coding, debugging, conduct user acceptance testing, training and documentation.
  • Develop and/or support integrations to external services and software.
  • Provide support and maintenance to website availability and marketing initiatives of business websites.
  • Ensure best practices in Web Content Management System (WCMS) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are in place in coding.
  • Mentoring and maturing business users to familiarize themselves with WCMS Cloud structure, such as Content, Forms, Layouts, Media Library and Components.


The scope of duties and responsibilities may be enlarged or reduced at the Management’s discretion, depending on the requirements of the GIT Division and Management’s assessment of your performance.
 

Requirements

  • Degree/ diploma holder in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimally 3 years of development experience on the Microsoft ASP.NET stack in Azure Cloud Platform and responsive web design development.
  • Skilled .Net Core developer with experience in Dependency Injection, Open Web Interface for .NET (OWIN), ASP.NET Membership, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), C#, REST APIs, Razor Views, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript Framework like Node.js, Polymer, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), NuGet, GitHub, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team as required by the project.
